Shake Shake Shake Señora

As fall rolls around most coffee houses are featuring fall drinks. Because I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on Starbucks everyday I create my own coffee creation that is just as good as Starbucks. Now I can have my favorite coffee beverage without paying an insane amount.

Tip #13 Shake Shake Shake Señora
This is an upgrade from your regular iced coffee beverage. First fill a shaker with ice, milk, sugar, and any coffee flavoring..(I like vanilla and chai tea.) Then shake vigorously for a frothy and evenly blended drink. You now have an amazing caffeine concoction at half the price.

Shoe Smackers

I've been trying to keep myself in shape by running...The shoes I have now have laces that don't always stay tied. So to combat this little problem I asked a few people I know who have run marathons to give me some advice on how to keep them tied.

Tip:#12 Shoe Smackers
One of the guys I asked said he carries a tube of chapstick with him. He uses it to not only moisturize his lips, but to keep his laces tied.

Now I know your saying umm this is not only weird but a little gross, so let me explain how he does this.
Before tying your shoe, dab the chapstick or lip balm onto the spot where the knot goes and the bow will stay put. I was skeptical so I tried it, and sure enough it worked! What a really great trick! Try this out the next time you decide to throw your kicks and take a run through the park.

Closet Shopping

Happy Monday Morning Everyone!!! I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Todays tip will make most women cringe, but make most men happy. If there's one thing I've learned about organizing it's making sure you know little tricks to help one get rid of items not needed anymore. This particular trick is one that everyone should try. It makes deciding on what to get rid of, and what to keep so much easier!!
Tip #11 Closet Shopping
Closet Shopping is simply skimming down your over crowded closet. Grab sections of clothes from your closet and try them on in front of a full length mirror.
Put the ones you would actually buy again back in the closet, and donate or consign the rest. Not only does this weed out the clothes you don't want, but it gives you a chance to model the ones you do want to keep and organize your closet at the same time!
Try this tip out...Trust me you will thank me later!!

Lollipop Lollipop oh oh oh Lollipop

This tip is going to be quick and very easy...I was thinking about new ways to garnish cocktails...

When I have coffee during the winter I use chocolate sticks that melt into the coffee to give it a wonderfully sweet flavor... So I was thinking instead of chocolate sticks in coffee what could I use that would give my cocktails the same kind kick..then it occurred to me!

Tip #10: Lollipop Lollipop Oh Oh Oh Lollipop
Tip 10 is so easy and fun to do...Make a drink like a Vodka Tonic and grab a lime lollipop and place it in the drink..not only will it dissolve and make your drink sweet, but the stick also serves as a stirrer.

If you don't like Vodka Tonics try a different drink and use a different flavored lollipop. This is where you can be as creative as you want! The next time you have a dinner party or a girls night make a few different drinks and experiment  with the various flavors! Just remember to drink responsibly!

Don't cry over spilled wax?

Hey everyone, so I had a candle wax accident last night...I was trying to finish up a candle I had been using for several months and heard a loud cracking noise in my bedroom...When I walked in, I saw candle wax all over my night stand. I was annoyed, but remembered a trick one of my old roommates told me about.
Tip #9: Don't Cry Over Spilled Wax
The trick is quite simple...Grab a blow dryer, set it on medium and heat up the caked on wax until it gets hot and starts to melt.

Once this happens wipe away the mess as it's good as new!
I hope this little tip helps..there really is no use in crying over spilled wax, especially when it's so easy to clean up!

Travel Light Just Right!!

As my blog begins to grow you will see me talk about the economy..With airlines charging outrageous fees for extra bags and weight I thought the tip of the day would be a helpful travel tip...I know I don't have money to blow on luggage fees...
Tip #8 Travel Light
When traveling there is no need to pack everything but the bathroom sink...With rules and regulations on what products you are allowed to pack on carry on's and checkin bags there is no need to bring a huge amount of stuff. Toiletries can serve double purpose...I have frizzy hair so I use a product called Biosilk to smooth out my hair after I have styled it..This product can also be used as a body oil/lotion..Not only does it smell great, but it helps with dry skin...
The other product is hair conditioner. It's great to use on hair, but can double as shaving cream..

Just rub the conditioner into your skin until it starts to foam and then shave.. It's as easy as that.
This tip should save you money and space..So the next time you are packing leave the extra products at home and just take the essentials.Traveling light is just right!

Ebay it!!

Good Morning Everyone, I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! Today's tip is one that is so easy to use and once you start using it, you really will never go back to doing things the same way again!!
Tip #7 is one of my personal favorites! EBAY IT...
Almost everything I buy now I buy on Ebay! It is the easiest way to shop, being that you can do it from the comforts of your home, and you can get almost anything on there. The sky's the limit really. I've purchased everything from home decor, clothes, shoes and handbags. If you can think it, you can find it on ebay. All you have to do is create a free ebay and paypal account and then start shopping. You can either bid on the the item or look for it in the buy now section and then complete the purchase option. It really is the greatest way to shop ever. With Christmas coming up try out this handy tip. You can thank me later for the money you saved!!
